A gathering of officialdom

Quincy College hosted a Government Day on Wednesday at its Quincy campus, inviting former Quincy mayor and adjunct Quincy College professor Jim Sheets, as well as Mayor Thomas Koch, state Senator John Keenan, , and Quincy City Council President Michael McFarland. The event was organized along with Henry Rubin, dean of the Academic Division of Liberal Arts at Quincy College, as a way to bring reality into the classroom. Speakers visited an American government class and a US history class.
