“The Revolution, The Railroad, and The Civil War,” a free real-time demonstration of the virtual world of the Stoughton Historical Society’s website, will be presented Sunday afternoon at 2 in the society’s headquarters at 6 Park St. Society vice president David Allen Lambert will demonstrate the resources available at stoughtonhistory.com, including a representative sample of the articles, lists, and information on veterans in the Revolutionary and Civil wars, newsletters, photographs, maps, and reproductions of historical and souvenir booklets. Recent additions include “A History of the Stoughton Railroad Station,” compiled by Town Moderator Howard Hansen for the 100th anniversary of the station in 1988; a list of payers of poll taxes in 1911; and property evaluations circa 1850. The program will be preceded by a brief business meeting to vote on changes to society bylaws. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, call 781-344-5456. - Rich Fahey
