Rail line to close

Weekend service on the Middleborough leg of the Old Colony commuter rail will be suspended for about four months, beginning Saturday, so that crews can repair the tracks. To date, 155,000 concrete ties that had started to break or crumble have been replaced on Middleborough and Kingston/Plymouth lines.
