Police academy graduate

Dedham native Jeffrey D. Kotkowski graduated from the Massachusetts State Police Academy last week at the DCU Center in Worcester. Kotkowski and 207 trainees were part of the 80th Recruit Training Troop, the largest in the history of the State Police and the first class since 2006. Training for the graduates began in October and included classroom study, physical training, defensive tactics, and real-world law enforcement scenarios. - Natalie Feulner
