Peter Cronin, BC High: The junior goalie from Norwell turned in a spectacular performance, making 28 saves against one of the most potent offenses in the state, but the Eagles fell to Malden Catholic, 3-1, in the Super 8 championship game.

Lloyd Hill, Milton: The freshman buried a goal from the slot to cut the deficit to two entering the third period, but the Wildcats lost to Burlington, 6-2, in the Division 1 final.


Hannah Murphy, Duxbury: The junior forward tallied two more goals on Sunday, including an empty netter, as the Dragons earned their second straight state title with a 3-1 win over Falmouth in the Division 2 final.

Rachel Myette, Duxbury: The sophomore goalie netted her second state championship in as many years as a starter, turning away all but one shot in Duxbury’s 3-1 victory against Falmouth.

Sam Topham, BC High: The Marshfield resident tallied the lone Eagle goal, just 1:58 into the first period, in the team’s 3-1 loss to Malden Catholic for the Super 8 title.
