This is the week residents can get rid of bulky waste items by placing them on the curb on trash day. Items eligible for free pickup include old furniture, rolled-up carpets, mattresses, microwaves, windows, and other nonrecyclable items. Some items require payment in advance for pickup, including air conditioners, computer monitors, dryers, freezers, refrigerators, and televisions.
