Town manager eases in

Troy Clarkson will begin his job as town manager on April 23, after giving a month’s notice to his current employers in Bridgewater, where he is town manager. Clarkson will then spend two months working with outgoing manager Steve Rollins, who retires at the end of June. Rollins has been the town’s chief administrator since 1987. Clarkson signed his contract with the town during a March 19 selectmen’s meeting. His annual salary will be $125,000. - Michele Bolton
