Fireworks scheduled

It may be only April, but local officials are already looking forward to this year’s July Fourth celebration. Selectmen recently signed a contract to have the fireworks display on Saturday, June 30. The Halifax in Lights Committee is due to attend an upcoming selectmen’s meeting to give an update on its fund-raising efforts. - Christine Legere
