Police station to be studied

Discussion of the need for a new police station has been ongoing for several years, and selectmen recently took a major step forward by endorsing a feasibility study. The study will look at costs and methods of expanding the current station. Police now operate out of the 19th century Peirce store downtown. Voters will decide whether to fund the study, which would cost about $50,000, at the Annual Town Meeting on June 11. - Christine Legere
