Community center panel

The newly appointed study committee for the Community Center will hold its first meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Town Hall. Last Monday, the Board of Selectmen appointed the 18-member panel to help the town come up with a plan for addressing the physical needs of the Community Center. The group will look into future uses of the center and evaluate whether the building should be renovated or replaced. Selectmen have asked the committee to develop recommendations for a plan that could be put before Town Meeting, preferably this fall. The committee includes all five selectmen - Daniel Trabucco, Lewis Stone, Greg Hanley, Bill Boulter, and Arthur Boyle – and 13 other members.
