Festival celebrates new starts

The Rockland Revitalization Group will host a Spring Fever Fest next Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. on School Street. The festival is a celebration of the opening of the Rail Trail and new businesses on Union Street. The event is free for all. There will be several booths from businesses, face painting, raffles, and a DJ. Proceeds from the raffles will go toward town beautification, said event organizer Daria Rindone. In addition to the festival, there will be store grand openings and a parade beginning at 10 a.m.
