Spring Town Meeting will be held April 23 at 7 p.m. in Wareham High School. There are 50 articles on the warrant: The School Committee is seeking to purchase instructional materials, repair the high school gymnasium roof, and avoid teacher layoffs - all of which would require raising property taxes. A new bylaw is being proposed that would allow police to issue fines of up to $50 to residents who own dogs that chase people without provocation, attack other domestic animals, or disturb neighbors with their barking and howling.
