Norwell to vote on $2.9m override

Norwell officials and parents are asking residents to approve a $2.9 million property tax override on May 18 to bring local schools key resources, an issue linked to a student population surge over the past decade. Enrollment at Norwell High School has gone from 552 students a decade ago to 667 this past fall and is due to keep rising, according to district estimates.
