Together Yes, a nonprofit that is starting the town’s first community garden, is seeking applications from residents. Applicants must be willing to keep their plot free of herbicides and pesticides, and be part of a team that will oversee the entire project. The garden is a 100-foot-by-100-foot space on a piece of town-owned conservation land on Washington Street near Coakley Middle School. Together Yes member Susan Clare hopes to have gardeners selected and crops planted by early May. To request a plot or obtain more information, contact Clare at firstname.lastname@example.org.
