Assistant principal finalists set

Three finalists have been named in the search for a new Thurston Middle School assistant principal. Each will visit the school this week for additional meetings and interviews. Parents are invited to meet with candidates from 10 to 10:45 a.m. each day in the school cafeteria annex. According to the schedule, the school will meet with Keith Turner on Monday, a sixth-grade math and science teacher at Remington Middle School in Franklin. On Tuesday, the school will meet with Robert Lyons, an eighth-grade history teacher at the Coakley Middle School in Norwood, and on Wednesday, Zachary Best, an assistant principal at Northwest Middle School in Knox County, Tenn., will visit the school.
