Library auctions charity chairs

Thirty creatively decorated chairs are up for silent auction by the Lakeville Public Library, with all proceeds benefiting the library. The chairs, created by library patrons, are on exhibit in the Great Ponds Gallery at the library, 4 Precinct St. Bids can be made on the chairs by writing the bidder’s name and bid on clipboards near each chair. The exhibit and silent auction will continue until Thursday, when a gala reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m.
