Fair offers seniors health tips

A health and safety fair for senior citizens is being held Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Council on Aging, 10 Father Kenney Way. The free public event includes health and security information, demonstration of safety products for seniors, and a free hot dog lunch. It is sponsored by the city’s SALT/TRIAD program, a community-based educational program for senior citizens that teaches crime prevention and increases public awareness. The group meets on the third Monday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the Council on Aging. For more information, call 508-580-7811.
