Bridgewater council upset by worker raises

Troy Clarkson, the former town manager in Bridgewater, has moved on to Hanover, but his power struggle with the nascent Bridgewater Town Council continues, this time over contracts Clarkson inked with department managers on his way out the door. Some councilors are angry over pay raises in the agreements, including one of 28 percent, and the fact their panel was never asked to weigh in on the deals. Clarkson maintains negotiations were “completely proper.”
