Innovation Academy at Southeastern Regional high school


The new program at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School is building a town from scratch, using Easton as a model in deciding where the major roads and municipal buildings go.


Students’ majors:

Legal and protective services, environmental, electronics, information technology, and engineering/architec-ture and design.

Elect public officials, such as town moderator, police chief, selectmen, and members of town boards. Hold mock Town Meetings.



Choose power sources, including alternative energy and oil and natural gas from a central grid, water sources, and waste-disposal systems.


Choose the types of jobs to be created. Suggestions include a nightclub, an arcade, a town sports team and sports complex, and a superstore.
