On a cloudy, cold, and windy afternoon, Bob Huckabee was all over the field, trying to get in as much instruction time as he could before the weather ultimately cut short practice for his Apponequet Regional softball team. Huckabee is a very active coach. That passion, and love of the game, is fueled by his nearly two-decade friendship with the late Peter Looney, a legend on Apponequet who Huckabee has replaced this spring.
