The town’s Open Space Committee is looking for volunteers to help clear water chestnuts from Barrowsville Pond on June 23. The group will meet at the parking area on Power Street and work from 9 a.m. until noon. Those interested in helping out should contact conservation agent Jennifer Carlino at 508-285-0275 or conservation@nortonmaus.com to reserve space on a canoe.
