Residents are invited to “adopt” handmade bird houses, constructed of recycled wood, which will be set out on poles at Pratt Farm, the senior center, Oliver Mill Park, and Soule Homestead. The cost is $16 per box, and each will bear the name of the donor. Contributors may choose to set the box at any of the above locations. The program aims to encourage native birds to take up residence in the boxes and be followed by future generations.
