Aquarion Water Co. will host a public meeting July 11 at 7 p.m. in the Sanborn Auditorium at Hingham Town Hall to discuss its analysis of the price of the town’s water infrastructure. The town has been examining the purchase of the infrastructure from the national company, after rates were raised by 10 percent this year. At April Town Meeting, residents approved a $320,000 feasibility study to examine the purchase. Although Aquarion will provide an analysis of the price, town officials said they have formed their own committee to independently look at the potential cost of the infrastructure.
