Drug bust in Crane Library

Two men were arrested last Monday after allegedly dealing drugs at the Thomas Crane Public Library. Police said they had put surveillance on the two men after they had allegedly been dealing heroin around Quincy Center. According to police, the two men were seen going into the library’s men’s room, where they allegedly exchanged heroin. Stephen Cohen, 44, who gave an address of Father Bill’s & Mainspring in Quincy, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate controlled drug laws, and a school zone violation. Ramon Velazquez, 54, who also gave an address of Father Bill’s, was charged with distribution of a class A substance, conspiracy to violate controlled drug laws, and a school zone violation.
