In honor of this year’s One Braintree, One Book selection, “Prince of Thieves,” the Thayer Public Library will host an excursion to Fenway Park July 26. With Fenway’s 100th anniversary this year, baseball is a theme with this year’s townwide book reading. In the novel, which was the basis for the movie “The Town,” bank robbers eventually make their way to Fenway. For the excursion, participants will leave from the library at 10 a.m. and will be back by 1:30 p.m. The fee is $15 for adults and $12 for children ages 5-15. Registration is required. The price includes both the tour and transportation.
