The Bridgewater Credit Union has donated $10,000 to Bridgewater State University’s Financial Literacy and Giving program, known as FLAG. The money will help three groups of FLAG students implement their own service projects this fall. They include a financial literacy training program for high school students, a student art gallery aimed at educational outreach, and a residence hall recycling program whose proceeds will benefit various local charities. The FLAG program helps students learn teamwork and real-life financial skills.
