Quincy resident Alison Eleey has earned the 2012 Simon Youth Scholarship award to benefit the pursuit of a post-secondary degree. Eleey will receive the award at a small ceremony at the South Shore Plaza, on a date that hasn’t yet been determined. The Simon Youth Foundation, a national nonprofit that encourages educational opportunities for students, funds the award. In 2012, the Foundation has awarded over $1 million in scholarships to students nationwide.
