The West Bridgewater Public Library is offering residents a chance to experience Italy though the eyes of a longtime West Bridgewater resident and amateur photographer. In May 2011, Joe Kennedy, a retired Boston teacher, and his wife took an extensive trip through Italy, including stops in Rome, Capri, the Amalfi Coast, Pompei, Venice, Milan, and Florence. Kennedy shot about 2,000 photographs during the trip, and 16 of those are now on display in “Bella Italia” at the public library galleria through the end of July. The framed photos can be viewed during the library’s regular business hours. A collection of Kennedy’s images is also available on his website, www.JoeKennedyPhotography.com.
