The Board of Health has posted a list of reminders for mosquito safety on the town’s website at www.townhall.westwood.ma.us. The risk of contracting eastern equine encephalitis and West Nile Virus is heightened from late July through September or until the first hard frost. The town continues to work closely with the Norfolk County Mosquito Control Project, which has an active larvicide program. Adult control is available by request only.
