The town has received a $155,770 state grant that enables it to continue bus service for three years. The service is operated through an arrangement reached with Brockton Area Transit two years ago, according to Town Administrator Allan R. Chiocca. Buses run every 75 minutes from 8:45 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. between the Community Center and Signature Healthcare in Brockton, and also make flexible pickups and dropoffs arranged a day in advance. Schedules and information on arranging pickup are available at Town Hall, the Council on Aging, the library, and online at www.ridebat.com. Rides cost $2, $1 for seniors, handicapped persons, and children.
