Stephanie Danielson, the town’s land use planner, is getting a summer tryout as Easton’s planning director, following the resignation of Bradford Washburn. He left the position as head of the Department of Planning and Community Development after two years to become assistant director of the state’s Office of Coastal Zone Management. Danielson was made acting town planner, according to Town Administrator David A. Colton, who plans to conduct a search for a permanent replacement in September. She previously was a candidate for the director’s position.
