US Senator Scott Brown was among those raising more than $80,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation last weekend by participating in the Cohasset Triathlon, according to organizer Bill Burnett. Brown, a Massachusetts Republican, finished 130th in the field of 800, and 10th in his age group of men 50 to 54, with a time of 1:12:24, according to the official results. The winner, 24-year-old Christopher Baird of Boston, completed the triathlon in 53 minutes and 36 seconds. The race included a quarter-mile swim at Sandy Beach, 12-mile bike course, and 3.2-mile run around Little Harbor.
