Avon: Jumpin’ Juba mixes blues from Chicago, Memphis, and New Orleans with roots-y rock and roll, jazz, calypso, and Latin flavors. Steve Hurl’s guitar playing draws from great acoustic blues finger-pickers, and from string benders of the 1950s. They perform in Avon’s Summer Concert Series. Dedham: The 41st annual Bay State Antique Auto Club Antique Auto Show features more than a thousand vehicles on display, car corral and trading bee, food court, music, and tours of the estate mansion. Norwell: “Through the Garden Gate Tour” is one of the longest -running garden tours on the South Shore. This summer tradition includes spectacular gardens in Scituate, Norwell, Hanover, Pembroke, and Marshfield.
