The 2012 Summer Concert Series starts Wednesday with Jumpin Juba playing blues, boogie, and rock and roll. The concerts will feature various artists every Wednesday evening until Aug. 15. The series is sponsored by the Avon Civic Association and local businesses and individuals. All performances will be at the gazebo in Moses Curtis Park, in downtown Avon, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Rain site is the church hall at St. Michael Parish, 87 N. Main St.
