The Pembroke Farmers Market will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on the town green every Saturday through Sept. 29, except for Aug. 11, when the Pembroke Arts Festival will be held on the green. About 15 vendors are participating in the weekly outdoor market this year, offering goods ranging from locally grown fruits and vegetables to lobster, jams and jellies, fresh baked breads, and desserts. There will also be live acoustic music and face painting each week. The market was founded and continues to be run by Matt Yorkand his sister, Christine Falk, a fellow Pembroke resident.
