A Norwood man’s organization for disabled veterans presented a new license plate design at the State House last week. Mike McNulty is the founder of Disabled and Limbless Veterans, which was established to create a license plate for the general public that honors and supports war veterans, a news release said. As soon as 3,000 Massachusetts drivers commit to purchasing the plates, the Registry of Motor Vehicle will begin producing them. Money raised by the special plate fees will go to support organizations such as the New England Center for Homeless Veterans and Fisher House in Boston.
