Police Department detectives are investigating a wave of home burglaries that have taken place around Fearing Hill Road, Main Street, and County Road in West Wareham. Police said the burglars have been entering through unlocked windows, doors, and basements, and stealing jewelry from homes. Police are reminding residents to make sure their homes and jewelry collections are properly secured.
