The town is seeking proposals from professionals with landscape architecture and park design experience to enhance Powers Farm,a 22-acre community park on North Main Street that celebrated its grand opening May 28. Under Phase II, the town wants to clean up the pond and wetlands, provide universal access throughout the park, connect the spaces with an integrated trail system, and add visitor facilities. A budget of $75,000 has been allocated for a design plan. The deadline to submit a proposal is Friday. After reviews and interviews, Randolph plans to select the winning design on July 30, with work starting on Aug. 20.
