There’s still time for residents to purchase commemorative bricks for the walkway that will be constructed next to the bandstand on the Town Green as part of Pembroke’s 300th anniversary celebration. The 300th Anniversary Committee is selling commemorative bricks for $40 apiece through July 23. Those who purchase a brick can have a personalized message inscribed on it. The committee also is accepting preorders for a book that it has created for the anniversary. Set to be released next month, the nearly 500-page coffee table book features numerous stories about the town’s three centuries of history, penned by more than 11 writers, as well as many photographs.
