Food pantry needs supplies for summer

The Norton Cupboard of Kindness is seeking some specific types of food donations during the summer, when schools are not in session and there are few events to provide opportunities for food collection. On the food pantry’s list of suggested items are pasta and sauce, cereal, tuna, canned hams, peanut butter, 100 percent fruit juice, soup, baking items, coffee and hot chocolate, dried potatoes, rice and pasta mixes, baby food, personal care items, and paper products. Donation bins are located at the local Roche Bros. market, Mansfield Savings Bank branch, and Walgreens Pharmacy, the Norton Public Library, and the Trinitarian Congregational Church of Norton. The food pantry is housed in a garage at 70 East Main St., next to Town Hall.
