Jonathan Redden has been named principal of Cunningham Elementary School, succeeding Karen Spaulding, who is moving to Pierce Middle School. Redden recently worked as a principal intern at the William W. Henderson Inclusion Elementary School in Boston and was a general and special education teacher at the Richard J. Murphy School in Boston for five years, Superintendent Mary Gormley said in announcing the appointement. Gormley also said she has selected Courtney Walsh, who previously worked for the Braintree public schools, as the head of the math, business, and technology department for Milton High School. The district is still searching for a elementary curriculum coordinator.
