In late June, Freetown voters supported a School Committee request to borrow up to $903,000 to update the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District’s technology infrastructure, a project spearheaded by its previous superintendent, John McCarthy, who is now the superintendent in Scituate. On Monday, Lakeville residents will vote on the spending during Special Town Meeting, which convenes at 7 p.m. at Apponequet Regional High School. If passed, the technology upgrades will include a new computer server, network management systems, and wireless access for students, district officials said.
