Margot Morrell, author of “Shackleton’s Way – Leadership Lessons from the Great Antarctic Explorer,” will speak Thursday in the Marion Music Hall on Front Street at 7 p.m., an event sponsored by the Sippican Historical Society. Morrell will talk about explorer Ernest Shackleton’s 1914-1916 expedition and the leadership attributes that helped him and his crew survive being stranded on an ice floe. Morrell, who last year wrote “Reagan’s Journey: Lessons from a Remarkable Career,” has been profiled in newspapers, magazines, and TV and radio news programs around the world. Her talk is free and open to the public. For information, call 508-748-1116, or e-mail info@sippicanhistoricalsociety.org.
