Derby Street Shoppes has rescheduled a fund-raiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Quincy to July 25. The event, which will take place at Serenity Garden from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., will feature the homegrown gardens from Green City Growers, an outdoor seminar with the outfitters REI, and a presentation with live animals with the South Shore Natural Science Center. The event was postponed in June due to bad weather. According to Derby Street staff, the hope is to show people the joy of the outdoors and explore healthy living. All money raised through donations will help support Camp Harbor View — part of the Boys & Girls Club in Quincy — which will help with the installation of an organic farm bed at the camp. According to Derby Street marketing coordinator Niamh O’Maille, Derby Street Shoppes will match any donation made to Camp Harbor View.
