A Milton-based summer camp was recently awarded money from The American Camp Association, New England, to help fund sessions for children who may not be able to afford camp. Blue Hills Summer Camp, located on Chickatawbut Hill,  was one of 65 camps  around New England to receive funding. The Milton camp offers kindergarten through high school students a chance to discover nature through hands-on exploration, according to its website. Money awarded to the camps will help at least 100 children in the area, the association said.
