Voters at a Special Town meeting last Monday approved a request to borrow $903,000, as authorized by the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District, to pay for updating technology infrastructure, which school officials said is outdated. District officials seek to repair and replace the technology system, and will seek voter approval at a special election in Lakeville Sept. 15. Freetown’s special election is scheduled for Sept. 17. Voters in that town also approved borrowing $903,000 at a Special Town Meeting June 28.
