The MBTA, long known as the chief mass transit operator for Greater Boston region, has become an agency that will help you get rid of bulky, electronic, and other trash items. The agency has begun holding recycling events at its Greater Boston transit facilities, accepting items ranging from computers to air conditioners. The next event is this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kingston commuter rail parking lot.
