Dalby Farm will host its annual Country Christmas Fair Dec. 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to raise money that supports farm operations. The farm raises several rare animal breeds, and fund-raising from the event typically covers 10 to 12 percent of the annual operating costs, said Cheryl DiTommaso, one of the farm owners. “We have been doing the fair for about five to six years now, and we usually get a couple hundred people during the course of the fair,’’ she said. “Whereas we are only open for business from May through October, the fair is the last opportunity of the year for us to earn revenue that is used to help carry us through the winter until we open again in May.” The holiday event will include Christmas carolers, visits with the animals, and holiday crafts.
