Voters will face several spending proposals on the 12-item agenda for the Special Town Meeting scheduled for Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. at Carver High School. The requests on the agenda include $103,000 to the North Carver Water District for operating expenses, $43,000 for the Cranberry Village Water District for various expenses, $38,000 for a Fire Department water tanker, $100,000 to pay for court judgment against the town, and a $77,000 tax abatement to Verizon New England. The meeting will also be asked to set up a revolving account for town insurance funds and to approve a bylaw restricting commercial solar-energy projects to certain areas of town.
