Randolph has given Recreation Director Marc Craig the new title of director of community programming and has expanded his job to include overseeing the senior center. With the recent retirement of Rena Baker as director of elder affairs, Town Manager David Murphy combined the two positions in order to better coordinate the departments. Murphy said seniors today tend to be more active and are interested in travel, fitness, and technology programs offered outside the traditional senior center model. Craig, 27, who previously was recreation director in Hanover, said he plans to offer more programs, including evening and weekend offerings. Craig usually can be found at the senior center at Fencourt Avenue in the mornings and at the Recreation Department office at 6 Carlino Way in the afternoons.
